This is a weekly podcast that analyzes Kubrick's masterpiece, The Shining, in 2 minute and 37 second chunks. Lots of special guests.
Just listened to your the Lee Unkrich episode. Ridiculously cool. Thank you!!!
Suzen, thanks for all of the hard work and time you've put into this project. Every show has had wonderful and insightful guest(s), great job!
Just listened to your episode #1. To me, this is a gold mine. I have one comment or question. When Kubrick used a yellow VW instead of the red VW in King's book, I understand that one interpretation is that he was asserting from the beginning that his movie was not simply a version of King's novel. I know Jay Weidenar's assertion. But why did he pick the collor, yellow? I just last week watched the Netflix production of The Ted Bundy Tapes. I was reminded that Bundy had a VW bug, and it was yellow.
Thank you for your beautiful photos and amazing video.
Just a small Christmas "thank you" for a great podcast...looking forward to Rosemary's Baby too!
