Growing up as a young girl in Kansas City, KS, she never imagined that her path would ever lead to the music industry, especially not one in Music City of all places. As many artists’ stories, she also grew up the daughter of a pastor and minister. Larysa’s family moved from the inner city of KC, to the sticks in Smyrna, TN, to a beautiful suburb in Blue Springs, MO, and last but not the least, the good ol’ country land of Nashville, TN. Finding each move a little harder to adjust to, Larysa found her release through the family piano many late nights with tears and a notebook. Music was always a big part of her family, and that is actually what guided her to use music as an outlet. It was at the age of 16, she picked up the guitar and really developed her own unique, feminine, soulful and rootsy sound.
